A rare opportunity to help be a key player in one of Wellingtons busiest cafes We are looking for a skilled & motivated barista/cafe manager to join the Babylon team & assist in running day shifts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with barista experience to further their knowledge & skillset in a busy environment. This role can also include the opportunity to grow & expand into senior management & back office roles.

This is a full time day time role, 4 to 5 shifts a week, 35-40 hours, ideally 4 week days and 1 weekend day.

Beach Babylon has been open for 16 years, & is open from 8am till late seven days a week. We have over 30 staff & encourage a sense of family, friendship, inclusiveness, & supportiveness. We are lgbtq+ friendly. Whilst the job can be busy we also believe in having fun, both with customers & each other, & we always encourage staff to be themselves.

The successful applicant needs to:
be a people person

have a great smile, a positive work ethic, & multi-tasking skills

have a knowledge of hospitality

have or be able to get a duty managers certificate

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
