Hauora Taiwhenua Rural Health Network (HTRHN) is a national membership organisation advocating for the health and wellbeing of rural New Zealanders. Our vision is to grow healthy and thriving rural communities. We represent a wide cross section of rural health professionals.

In addition to our advocacy work, HTRHN administers the government funded Rural Recruitment and Locum Support contract through its NZLocums division.

HTRHN has now been awarded a contract from the government to set up a locums service for Rural Hospitals throughout New Zealand.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this full-time position based in Wellington, will be responsible for establishing the new service, including creating a robust project plan. Once established, the Manager Rural Health Locums Service (MRHLS) will have responsibility for overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day operations and performance against the Rural Hospital Locums contract with Government and will be accountable to the Chief Executive for the achievement of key performance measures and deliverables. The MRHLS will be the day-to-day point of contact for all enquiries in relation to this contract.

Some travel will be required to visit rural hospitals.

**To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate**:
