An exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to work for a leading global freight solution company, focusing on simplifying and digitising the logistics solutions.

**Your new role**

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 5+ years of work experience with ETL, data modelling, and data architecture.
- Solution design using Microsoft Azure services and related tools.
- Experience in Data Engineering/Data Transformation including using Cloud development tools such as Apache Spark and Python or ETL tools such as Wherescape Red, Talend etc.
- Experience with multiple database and data store technologies such as Columnar, Relational, NoSQL, Multi-dimensional, Distributed, In-Memory, Document Based, Graph, and others.
- A foundation in systems development. Must understand the system development life cycle, project management approaches, and requirements, design, and test techniques.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and leading efforts to build data services.
- Familiar with established and emerging data technologies with a good understanding of data management and reporting technologies, and have some knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualisation, and unstructured data.
- Experience with systems integration techniques for both transactional systems and data platforms.
- Experience in managing the quality of metadata collected and communicated, managing enterprise-wide master/reference data and managing the flow of an information systems data throughout its lifecycle.
