Treasury Analyst

**How you’ll make an impact**

As a member of the Treasury team, you will play a key role in the execution of front office activities for the business globally. You will develop an understanding of the Xero business environment, managing business cash flow, foreign exchange and banking needs across our global operations. You will build strong relationships throughout the business and communicate insights to different stakeholders throughout the company and our banks.

**What you’ll do**:

- Responsible for the efficient operation of the group's cash flows and liquidity, ensuring funds are available in the right currency and account to meet obligations as they fall due
- Support Treasury with the development and implementation of risk management strategies related to foreign exchange, liquidity and counterparty credit exposures
- Support with Treasury reporting to the Treasury Governance Committee and the Audit and Risk Management Committee
- Support Group-wide month end processes including posting treasury accounting journals
- Continually improve documentation of internal processes, controls and systems, identifying areas of improvement to prevent non-compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain working relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external banks
- Support the Treasury Manager on ad hoc treasury projects

**What you’ll bring with you - Experience**:

- Bachelor degree or higher in accounting or finance related field3+ years experience working in a
- Treasury function or combination of Finance roles
- Strong interest in Treasury, particularly within a global organisation
- Experience using treasury management systems would be advantageous
- Experience working in a dynamic environment
