Our System Transformation Team is one of the functions of the Budget Directorate at the Treasury. We work to improve the capabilities, systems and processes the Treasury uses for running the public finance system.

**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role**

We have a rare opportunity for an 2x Analysts/ Senior Analysts to work with the us on the following:

- rethinking the information, systems and analysis the Treasury needs to advise on public finances
- developing tools to support a focus on what really matters for agency finances and performance, and
- designing training and guidance to support change and ensure the right levels of capability in the right places.

The role will involve working on interdisciplinary projects that bring together data, IT, performance, policy and capability-building. We work with a range of teams across the Treasury so people will need to learn about many different aspects of how the management of public finance works, spot opportunities for improvement and codesign change projects with people from different parts of the organisation.
