MarketMedia is The Warehouse Group’s Retail Media Network, giving agencies, suppliers and advertisers the ability to directly engage with New Zealand’s largest integrated retail audience across the Group’s online stores, apps, and millions of weekly visits to The Warehouse, Noel Leeming, TheMarket, Warehouse Stationery and Torpedo7.
Our team is always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to New Zealanders, including a growing number of public good and sustainability initiatives, and we’re looking for someone to come co-create and lead our in-house sales partnerships team to drive MarketMedia’s next phase of growth.
**Job Description**:
We need our next great sales and partnerships all-rounder. Someone who can hit the ground running whilst working closely with the business leads to build the sales team from the ground up.
You’ll be equally comfortable deepening engagement and spend with existing partners, seeking out new clients, putting a pitch together, planning campaigns with agencies and suppliers, and helping shape and develop a team of future sales partnership superstars.
You’ll get the chance to work across a wide variety of brands, partners, agencies, and categories, all ranging from fast-moving consumables to highly-considered technology and appliances.
Let’s be clear. This isn’t the role for you if you like to sit-back and let things come to you - it’s all hands-on deck here and everyone has their sleeves rolled up. You’ll be motivated by the success of a team as well as your own performance within it. The goals are lofty, but the rewards are too. You’ll be equally at home chatting to those at the coalface as well as CMOs and agency executives.

**Qualifications**:
Media Sales and Partnership experience of at least 8 years is a must with experience within the FMCG category an added bonus. You’ll be great with people and have led a team before along with having a nose to sniff out the next opportunity. You’ll be able to create sales plans, team targets and growth models as well as know how to execute them.
There is no playbook for this role so we will rely on your strategic contribution, and comfort to pave the way.
