The opportunity:
We're looking for a dynamic and driven Head of ASB Partnership to take charge of our insurance sales growth through the ASB Bank Channel.

You'll be the driving force behind strategic discussions with ASB, leading the way to achieve shared success and long-term partnership objectives. Your innovative mindset will be put to work as you develop targeted solutions that cater to specific customer segments, driving the growth of digital insurance solutions within ASB.

Reporting to the Chief Distribution Officer, this role is part of the Partnership Distribution Senior Leadership Team and leads a Business Development team, and a Sales Support team.

Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the performance of Bank Channel - IM, Direct, and Digital Sales- Serving as a liaison between ASB and AIA, managing the distribution agreement- Leading strategic discussions with ASB to achieve partnership objectives- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key ASB executives- Ensuring compliance of all IMs within the Bank Advice Channel- Driving engagement of AIA Vitality and developing targeted solutions, innovation, and digital insurance offerings.- Has exceptional relationship-building skills with key senior stakeholders- Can lead strategic discussions to achieve long-term partnership objectives- Has a track record of driving innovation and customer focused solutions- Is a people person, forming and building relationships is your secret sauce, including building an engaged and high performing team- Actively listens and has a high degree of flexibility and adaptability- Possesses strong compliance knowledge and commercial acumen- Brings strong knowledge and experience in the NZ Financial Advice Market- Has a customer-centric mindset and can develop targeted solutions- Has excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
