**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
We are looking for experienced administrators to join our Head & Neck Team as a Patient Pathway Coordinator. In this busy role, you will be the one point of co-ordination for patients and manage the booking and scheduling waitlists as well as provide secretarial and administrative support to the clinical consultants. This is an important position with the opportunity to make big difference to the administrative running of the team and to positively impact the experience of our patients. Each Service has different priorities for this role so flexibility is important.
There will be all sorts of opportunities for you to review and improve our processes, and you’ll be supported in developing and implementing your ideas to better serve our patients and engage in projects. It’s fast paced work with lots of competing demands for your attention and prioritisation.
We have multiple opportunities providing the ability to consider full or part time, fixed term and permanent positions. These roles will work across various sites within Auckland including other Districts’ sites.
Our core hours for the above role are primarily structured around clinic hours but could vary depending on the requirements of the service. The day’s hours could vary anytime between 7:00am through to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday,

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
As you will be providing support to consultants, ideally you will have recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting or experience in using booking systems in a customer service-related role, excellent organisational and communication skills, and be flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following abilities:
- An experienced administrator with at least 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced front-line position.
- Have been exposed to a clinical background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Demonstrate great attention to detail, high level of time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease
