We
are looking for a Programme Manager to support our district level immunisation programme.
The current immunisation environment is a combination of delivering the New
Zealand Immunisation Schedule, Covid-19 vaccination and new immunisation
programmes that are rolled out to protect our community.
We
are looking for applicants who have a broad range of skills with demonstrated
experience in governance, management and have clinical vaccination experience.
You will also be used to all aspects of immunisation service management,
planning and collaboration with providers and supporting organisations.
The whole health system is undergoing structural
change as former DHB roles, functions and staff transfer into the new entities:
Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand and Te Aka Whai Ora - Māori Health Authority.
Applicants need to demonstrate their ability to work with ambiguity, be
flexible and positively enable immunisation services through a period of national
change.
The salary for this role will depend on skills and experience and starts at $114,027.

You are someone with exceptional programme
management and governance skills or relevant experience that can enable district
wide collaboration.
As an excellent communicator, you will
also have strong analytical skills and the ability to assume a strategic focus. You need to have strong people and
interpersonal skills, be flexible, motivate and cultivate innovation, be
situations.
With the ability to build
relationships quickly and your clinical experience you will deliver
immunisation priorities using sound project management approaches and keep other
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their
primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations as they have direct
contact with patients and members of the public.
