The opportunity:
The Senior Automation Developer is responsible for creating, developing, and executing automated solutions to enhance efficiency and cut down on manual requirements. You will collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to guarantee that automated processes are suitable for AIA New Zealand's needs.
About the role:
- Collaborate with product owners, project managers, business analysts and end-users to identify opportunities for automation and streamline business processes
- Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual workloads
- Support automation for observability and DevOps
- Create and maintain documentation related to automation solutions
- Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure that automated processes meet business requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated processes and RPA platforms such as UiPath Orchestrator
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies related to automation
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in automation development
- Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Selenium, or anything similar
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar
- Experience with databases, SQL, and data management
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
