This pivotal role requires you to lead your shift, maintain high levels of customer service, and oversee an owner-driver fleet. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to providing an exceptional door-to-door, shared-ride airport transfer experience for Super Shuttle customers.

This Auckland office-based role is shift work, and you'll be part of a monthly roster that manages the Super Shuttle national operation, 24hrs/7days. The Operations Controller function is central in enabling Super Shuttle to deliver reliable, quality service. The successful applicant must demonstrate a dedicated, mature, and unflappable leadership style in managing their respective fleets. A strong command of the English language is a core component requirement that must deliver clear communication to the broader fleet resource.

The job's purpose is to complete and conduct reservations and dispatch operations for Tourism Transport Limited (TTL), following the organisation’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Key Responsibilities

Complete dispatch responsibilities through all communication methods operated by TTL nationwide and reservation responsibilities through all communication methods operated by TTL nationwide. Maintain and increase TTL tourism, corporate, and general public sector business across all TTL business units. Contribute to improving TTL business systems and initiatives in liaison with the TTL Management Team. Conduct dispatch operations in an organised and professional manner and in accordance with TTL National Reservations Centre SOPs for applicable TTL Business Units. This is a full-time permanent role (30 hours per week is guaranteed). You will be required to work on a rostered cycle during the calendar week, including on Saturday and Sunday and Public holidays. You will be given at least seven days’ notice of a new roster. Based on your expertise, knowledge, and skills, the base salary is between NZD $29- $30 an hour.

The successful applicant will be an important contributor to a professional, motivated team and work in a proudly NZ-owned company. You’ll be contributing to a service that takes the stress out of airport transfers for hundreds of thousands of passengers every year and that takes hundreds of cars off the road every day.
