**The Organisation**

The Timaru District Council aims to enable democratic local decision-making and action by, and on behalf of communities, to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its communities in the present and for the future. With around 400 staff, there are a diverse range of roles from front facing community to support and technical specialists.

**The Role / Person**

Are you a training, coaching and support superstar? Have great attention to detail? We are on the hunt for a proactive and friendly individual to join our Information Management Team as an Information Management Advisor with a focus on training and support

You’ll play an essential role in the small but mighty IM team; partnering with business units to ensure they are competent and confident in managing their information using council systems. You will create a culture where people can learn every day.
- To succeed in this role ideally you will have: _
- Experience developing, implementing and delivering training and coaching in a workplace setting to internal stakeholders with varying degrees of knowledge.
- Ability to produce high quality training materials.
- An understanding of Information and Records Management legislation and standards or a genuine willingness to learn.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Initiative and interest in new approaches and technology.
