Description

The role  

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Regulatory team at Alpine Energy. As our Regulatory Advisor, you will be responsible for: 

 

Interpreting and analysing regulation, policy, and legislation for electricity distributionProviding clear regulatory advice and insights to senior leaders and stakeholdersLeading engagement with agencies and represent Alpine in industry working groupsDriving compliance and change projects, including disclosures and submissions

What you'll need  

Tertiary qualification in economics, law, public policy, or similarExperience in regulation, policy, or government (Usually 3+ years)Excellent plain-English writing and communication skillsStrong analytical and relationship management abilitiesProven ability to interpret and apply regulation and legislation

Nice to haves  

Knowledge of the electricity sector and central government policy Strong planning skills Sound quantitative, qualitative, analytical and problem-solving skills to support the provision of good advice
