We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Despatch Coordinator to join our team based at our Timaru Branch.

**The role**

Your key responsibilities will be to provide excellence in customer services for Waste Management’s customer-base, by answering customer enquiries/requests, scheduling daily work for operators, monitoring, and signing off run sheets and coordinating drivers. Building strong customer relationships as well as pro-actively identifying and informing customers of any operational delays will play an integral part in this role and to ensure seamless communication between customer services, operational units, and drivers.

**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will have proven customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- You also bring a proactive and positive attitude and the ability to instantly build rapport with customers.
- Previous experience in transport/logistics desirable.
- Your customer centric, a strong relationship builder, flexible, have high attention to detail and good time management.
- Experience in using MS Office especially Word and Excel are also essential for this role.
- Experience also using CRM systems Salesforce and JDE system is desirable.
