100% New Zealand owned Building Services construction, service and maintenance support company. With 25 years in the industry, this company is expanding their Auckland office due to organic growth and with the amount of projects that the company is currently involved in.

**Your new role**

As a senior engineer you will take ownership of the project engineering component of various projects from conception through to construction as well as supporting the sales and commercial teams with value engineering and advice. The role is mainly made up of project engineering with some design and project management included. You will be responsible for interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications, and providing advice on engineering methods and procedures to our Project Managers and Supervisors to achieve construction and production requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
- Producer statement author (PS1 and PS4).
- Minimum 4 years’ building services industry experience post degree.
- Computer literacy with Office 365 software specifically in Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.
- 2D CAD experience, and the ability to review plans/schematics.
- Proven understanding of relevant NZ and Australian standards including working knowledge of the Building Act (2004) and compliance laws codes of practice.
