We are recruiting for our successful client who is a leading vendor of IT solutions to Kiwi businesses. They are after a Senior Systems Engineer - Delivery that is responsible for scoping and delivering technical solutions for clients. This person will collaborate closely with the Sales team and Managed Services team to understand the client's requirements and provide detailed Statements of Work or proposals that meet those requirements. The Senior Systems Engineer - Delivery will also be in charge of leading the implementation and delivery of these solutions, ensuring they meet the client's expectations.

**Job Duties**
- Collaborate closely with the sales and managed services teams to comprehend client requirements.
- Assist in the Pre-Sales process by pricing solutions based on product component pricing.
- Create proposals or Statements of Work to be approved by the client.
- Lead technical discussions with clients if necessary.
- Design and implement technical solutions that fulfill client requirements.
- Take charge of the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the delivery team.
- Ensure accurate and clear documentation of technical solutions, handing them over to the Managed Services team.
- Identify and address technical risks associated with the implementation of solutions.
- Maintain accurate time sheeting for at least 7.5 hours per day within 24 hours of work being done.

- Prioritize workload to ensure the most important tasks are undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.
- Support and contribute to a positive workplace culture, demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels.
- Undertake all duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description and any other duties as required by the business.
- Comply with all employment obligations.
- Promptly undertake to complete all reasonable and lawful instructions and directions given. Serve the business in good faith, promoting and protecting the business's best interests.
- During work time, and as reasonably required, dedicate all effort to the execution and fulfillment of the duties, responsibilities, obligations, and instructions related to employment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety at work through own actions when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, delivering technical solutions to clients.
- Strong experience in scoping and designing technical solutions.
- Experience in leading the implementation of technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in delivering hybrid and cloud technology solutions and writing proposals for these types of projects is required.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand, as this client cannot sponsor work visas. This position will be offering $125,000 to $140,000 depending on experience.
