**CONSULTANZ **is currently in search of a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to work with our esteemed top-tier client in Auckland. This role requires a solid foundation in general civils, pavements, and drainage. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of a wide range of infrastructure projects.

**MAIN DUTIES**:

- Manage and oversee multiple civil engineering projects simultaneously, from inception to completion. This includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical expertise in general civils, pavements, and drainage design, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Monitor and enforce quality control and safety measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and address technical challenges, making informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets and cost control, ensuring projects remain financially viable.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a civil engineer.
- Demonstrated prior experience on a large project involving general civils, pavements, and drainage.
- Proficiency in programming and planning, cost reporting, contractual management, and budget management.
- Familiarity with relevant specifications.
- Track record of successfully managing and providing mentorship to teams of Site Engineers and Project Engineers.
