**Checkout Operator - Multiple positions**

Do you enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis?

Are you reliable, enthusiastic and highly motivated?

We are seeking an energetic and bubbly person to join our Checkout Department at New World Northwood. These roles would suit anyone who has previous experience or is willing to be trained.

**To succeed in this position you will need to**:

- Demonstrate dedication to customer service
- Be able to work well under pressure and multi-task
- Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship
- Be a team player
- Be able to effectively communicate
- Be able to comply with our health and safety, and our food safety programmes

**The key responsibilities of the successful applicant include**:

- Operate a full service checkout
- Pack customers' groceries carefully and efficiently
- Assisting with Lotto and Self Scan Checkouts (after full training)
- Responsible for upholding our legal requirements in regards to the Sale of Liquor Act and the Sale of Tobacco

**We have multiple positions available, both Full-time and Part-time. Days and hours can be discussed at interview.
