The Lead Engineer will be a full stack Microsoft developer with strong expertise in front-end, Back end, and Database; on top of that you will also be hands-on with modern architecture skills like Microservices - containerization, durable functions, Razor views, Elastic pool (Shards), NoSQL, partitioning, etc.
You will enjoy interacting with a global client base, listening to their funny issues, and providing practical solutions.
Continuous learning and adapting to the ever-changing technology landscape is a big part of this role as we are evolving as an organization.
We are a global company, and that means working with some very talented people from different time zones who always bring different perspectives to the table. ‘Collaboration’ will be key to this role as you work with your colleagues and interact with our clients.
**Responsibilities**
Here are some of the areas we are working in that you will be involved in: (We do not require expertise in all these stacks, deep experience in a few of these stacks qualifies you)
- **_Windows Development_** - Desktop experience with C#, WPF, and strong SQL would be useful. Customizable and localizable apps would be even better. Exposure to latest, cross-platform Desktop Development would be an added advantage e.g. MAUI
- **_Web Development_** - Full stack web projects with a front-end focus, MVC. You will need a solid SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server) foundation
- **_Database Development_** -Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (or greater); Strong database design, code review, development, administration, and troubleshooting skills; Previous experience in troubleshooting complex SQL queries/stored procedures would be a big plus.
- **_Mobile/Web App Development _**- We have mobile apps on Android and iOS for our global clients. Exposure to mobile web apps is an advantage
- **_BI Development_** - Your exposure to BI; especially a thorough understanding of BI dashboards and reporting will be a big advantage
- **_Cloud Development (Azure/AWS)_** - We are evolving our cloud strategy and as such exposure to cloud architecture and on-cloud performance optimizations is a must.
- Platform/Infrastructure - You will have a thorough understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform architecture & Security practises
- Agile Development - Prior experience in Agile-driven development is a must
- Stakeholder Management - We cannot emphasize enough the importance of stakeholder management for this role. You will talk to several regional leaders in the company and the clients on a regular basis i.e., strong experience in building relationships and managing the expectations of a variety of stakeholders is a must.
- You will have strong technical aptitude/rapport and the ability to convey technical content in a clear, concise manner, using appropriate language for the audience; Able to understand and process technical information with ease.

Any of the following is a plus:

- Experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administration
- Experience in Microsoft Hyper-V Server and VM Management
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, and SQL SSRS reporting.
- Microsoft Certifications (Azure, SQL, DBA, etc.)

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related major.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with.NET Technologies (WPF, WCF, and Workflows) and C#; Experience with T-SQL is strongly preferred.
- Experience with web development (ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, jQuery frameworks e.g., Kendo UI, HTML, CSS, etc.)
- Experience Azure or AWS Cloud Solutions; IaaS or PaaS and Serverless solutions would be a great bonus
- Experience in SRE and DevOps tools; Azure DevOps or similar. CI/CD and operation monitoring tools experience is a plus
- Knowledge and experience of design patterns (both at an architectural and implementation level).
- Ability to establish and communicate best coding practices
- Experience in restructuring from old tech to modern tech is a bonus
- Experience in converting old UI frameworks into new
- Experience modern stacks like Elastic pool (Shards), NoSQL, partitioning, etc
- SharePoint and SharePoint Search experience is a major plus.
