Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
You will become an integral part of the Organisational Performance Leadership Team and report to the Head of Organisational Performance. This group is part of the wider Organisational Effectiveness business group for Toitū Te Whenua. You will be leading a great group of multi-disciplinary staff and could be covering any functional areas we support eg Business Improvement, Planning and Performance, Portfolio Management, Risk and Assurance or Project Capability. You will be part of the senior leadership team and have a role in the evolution and overall performance of the group. You will be a key point of contact for other Business Units and Kaihautū seeking guidance, support, and the services delivered by our group. It is intended that this role is agile and able to work across the whole group as needed.
He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Ability to coach, mentor and guide teams and individuals in a way that builds their knowledge and capability,
- Experience leading self-managing teams and developing and implementing flexible/agile work practices
- Working in line with organisational policy, process and direction and actively partnering with enabling functions to ensure decisions are consistent and risk is managed,
- Expertise in collaborating with other leaders to identify opportunities to connect our work to introduce new or improved approaches to support consistency and high quality performance (through leading others and personal practice)
- Contributing to initiatives and contributing your perspective, and that of your wider area, to achieve organisational outcomes,
- Ideally experience, and strong understanding of government and business needs

The Salary range for this role is $130,782 - 176,946
Te Tākinatanga - Our Story
Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) is the Government's lead agency for property and location information, Crown property and managing overseas investment. We work across land, sea, data, Crown property and regulatory areas.
