To support our growth within the region and our significant project wins we are looking for a Land Development Engineer to join us and work with key clients in the transport infrastructure sector across utilities and earthworks. Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across the Waikato and further afield, but you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects throughout New Zealand across the Pacific.

Each day will be varied and provide new opportunities, overall you will be responsible for”
- Undertake varied civil engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity under the guidance of senior staff
- Contribute to the analysis of information, production of design, reports, tenders and proposals
- Demonstrate basic business skills to deliver projects to quality, budget and programme requirements.
- Develop relationships to provide quality services to internal and external clients
- Communicate positively and effectively ensuring that team members, managers and clients are well informed of your project tasks.
- Consolidate and extend technical skills and show initiative in seeking learning opportunities
- Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills
- Develop and mentor others to grow successful careers

**About you**.

You love to learn and share knowledge and someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a Civil or Land Development Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving.

You will have some knowledge and be keen to develop design skills in software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Open Roads, MX or 12d. You will have an enquiring mind, able to problem solve and think laterally. How you work is also important to us - we will value your enthusiasm and motivation to continue to learn from your peers and more senior members of the team.
