**Opportunity with CMW Geosciences**

Our Hamilton office is looking to hire an experienced Principal or Associate level Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer. You will be undertaking site investigations, design and reporting of geotechnical projects with the support of other CMW personnel. Furthermore you will:

- Work with the technical team to develop, provide and promote technical solutions, options and initiatives to meet client needs
- Monitor project progress against budget to ensure cost overruns are avoided
- Prepare for and undertake fieldwork including derivation of engineering geological and geotechnical ground models
- Prepare proposals, technical documents and other correspondence
- Ensure the timely delivery of technical output

**Some of the sectors you will be involved include**:

- Infrastructure - road & rail
- Renewable energy (wind, solar & geothermal) &
- Variety of land development projects

**To be eligible we are looking for the following**:

- Qualified Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 10+ years of experience in working in a consulting engineering environment
- Great project management and people skills
- Demonstrated experience in site investigation and geotechnical consulting projects
- Robust technical skills, eg. slope stability, settlement, liquefaction
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Technical report writing abilities
