Are you an experienced tradesperson wanting a new challenge?

We are looking for someone, preferably with a maintenance or trades background, to help us maintain our buildings and equipment at the Wairoa Hospital and Health Centre. This is a hands-on role and a great opportunity to work alongside contractors and other staff within the wider Hawke's Bay area.

We need someone who can work with us to ensure engineering and operational services are provided to ensure uninterrupted services to the Wairoa Hospital and Health Centre.
We are looking for a person who shares our vision of a healthier Hawke's Bay and is willing to assist in taking our facility forward. You will be someone who can work autonomously, while also being a team player, as you will need to be comfortable working closely with the Facilities Team and other staff at the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital in Hastings.

It is expected that you will have good general building, mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills, and understand the importance of health & safety. There is also some computer work involved so it is essential that you are confident in using different systems and Outlook, or willing to learn.
As this is a leadership role, management experience is preferable however you will have no direct reports.

This role is for 64 hours per fortnight with the possibility of some flexibility - just chat to us
