Digital Content Coordinator

To help achieve this mission, we’re on the look-out for someone who wants to dive into the world of television production while focusing on captivating social media content creation in the role of a Digital Content Coordinator. Not to mention you will be able to learn from an experienced team who are a knowledgeable, engaged and friendly bunch.

**Where and how you can work**

**Your day-to-day**
- Be involved in a passionate team that is on a mission to deliver high quality content to promote the racing industry.
- Work collaboratively with Trackside producers to showcase New Zealand racing.
- Promote New Zealand racing across social platforms to maximise reach and engagement.
- Create engaging and informative content to build brand awareness, drive user engagement, and increase social media following.
- Develop and implement creative social media strategies to promote horse racing events, news, and updates across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and style to maintain high editorial standards.
- Actively follow racing codes and seek opportunities to promote where possible across relevant platforms.

**You're a match if you have**
- A strong passion for horse racing, with a solid understanding of the industry, its players, and events.
- Previous experience in the social media and the content creation space.
- Experience using the Adobe Suite specifically Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Video editing skills to suit various social platforms.
- Strong copywriting ability.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms professionally, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a flair for creating engaging content.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics, able to generate reports and insights based on data.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think out-of-the-box and develop innovative social media campaigns.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
