You’ll be at the intersection of curiosity and commerce - hunting new business opportunities, shaping pricing strategies, and guiding clients through complex hazardous waste challenges Based in Christchurch,**you'll be a key player working closely with internal stakeholders to bring insight, innovation, and impact to the way we grow our entire South Island business. **Job Description** What You’ll Do** **Solve. Repeat.** - Pre-qualify hazardous waste opportunities and guide customers to the right technical solution - Help create solutions that are smart, sustainable, and surprisingly strategic - Conduct commercial analysis (cost-benefit, customer profitability, lifecycle, etc.) that informs big decisions - Shape pricing models that work for customers and make sense commercially **Hunt & Win** - Exceed new business targets - because you love chasing opportunity - Manage a value-based sales cycle from first contact to closed deal - Help customers navigate risk and compliance in tricky waste categories - Respond rapidly and intelligently to urgent customer needs (this is where your curiosity meets calm under pressure) **Ask More, Find More** - Identify leads early - even in planning stages - Dig into the why, not just the what - and uncover projects others miss - Build and execute a Territory Plan that reflects where the real value lies - Collaborate with technical, sale and marketing and operations teams to craft solutions and inspire great customer outcomes **Influence & Inspire** - Deliver insights that persuade and educate our customers - Bring customer insights back into the business to keep us always improving **Qualifications** What We’re Looking For** We’re not just after someone who can sell.
