**About the opportunity**:
This is a great opportunity for a Technical Sales/Support person to join our client who is a leading supplier of print and coding solutions to the FMCG, manufacturing, distribution and processing markets.

They are looking for someone with strong Marketing & Sales experience and knowledge who will assist customers with implementing and managing their packaging printing and industrial inkjet ‘use by date’ printing onto their packaging. This role will suit a hands-on rep based out of Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland who doesn’t mind a bit of travel to major centres across NZ.

**Role description**:
The primary role will be business developments for new and existing customers with any printing equipment and related technical support issues - mechanically and electrically working alongside customer production/engineering staff and contractors. You may also be assisting with installing new solutions into the customer's manufacturing and FMCG production and distribution facilities alongside their technical staff and engineers, so a person with technical, electrical and mechanical experience is definitely a bonus.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- New business development and technical sales/support for all company equipment installed with current and new customers nationwide
- Assisting with installation/commissioning of company equipment alongside manufacturing production and engineering staff
- Provide equipment demonstrations and presentations with company equipment/consumable quotes

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- Understanding and experience in FMCG manufacturing and some technical, electrical, and mechanical processing would be an advantage
- Must have up-to-date IT experience and Windows/PC knowledge
- Strong Marketing and Sales experience, preferably B2B experience
- Hands-on approach with a down-to-earth attitude and drive to get tasks completed in a timely manner
- Able to plan and prioritize workload, sales calls and time management for monthly/quarterly KPI targets
- Happy to travel regularly for the role within major CDB Centre’s in New Zealand

**What they will offer**:

- Remuneration Base salary depending on expertise and experience in the NZ market. In summary $60K - $70K per annum base with heavily weighted sales commission and company bonus scheme. Potential earnings $120K - $150K+.
