**Who are we looking for?**:
Having a finance or accounts background this role is fundamental to support the Financial Controller and the effective financial management of the business.

**The Brief**:
The role is the front face of Vitruvius at the Tauranga office greeting our clients and visitors. The role will perform a variety of reception, finance and administration tasks to support the smooth running and efficiency of the business.

This a dual role that will undertake both Finance Assistant supporting the Financial Controller with business-wide finance tasks as well as locally in Tauranga supporting the team as a General Assistant.

The role will support the Financial Controller with the financial management, control and operations across the business through undertaking a range of finance tasks. The role will provide timely, accurate and high quality support with accounts payable, accounts receivables, invoicing, and timesheets. monthly management reporting, reconciliations and any other tasks as required.

As the General Assistant for the Tauranga office, this role will include a variety of office and administration tasks to support the efficiency of office.

This role will also be supported by the General Assistants based in the other office locations. The roles are required to work collaboratively together and support each other to ensure efficient delivery without duplication. This role is hugely varied in day-to-day tasks, requiring high levels of interpersonal skills to work with all levels of employees to support on what is required to achieve a smooth-running business.
- Experience working in accounts administration
- Experience with Xero software
- Prior experience in a similar role and a can do attitude
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and negotiate deadlines in the face of competing demands under mínimal supervision
- Able to problem solve and act appropriately
- Advanced level of computer literacy in MS Office Suite
- High level of integrity
- Able to manage pressure in work environments
- Excellent attention to detail and confident in document presentation and report formatting
