The opportunity:
Join AIA New Zealand as a Learning and Development (L&D) Lead and take charge of driving organisational growth through strategic learning initiatives.

As a pivotal member of our Change and Capability function, you'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing and delivering learning solutions that equip people with the capability to deliver on current and future organisational priorities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading our L&D strategic planning process, and managing the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of critical enterprise-wide learning solutions e.g., Strategic Workforce Planning- Designing and delivering best-in-class blended learning and development solutions, ensuring there is a suitable balance between classroom-based learning and learning through other avenues including coaching, technology, and self-directed learning practices- Learning programme management and facilitation across a range of curriculum areas (including but not limited to new employee orientation, soft skills, and leadership training)- Developing and leading learning governance, standards and infrastructure that ensure sustainable and effective organisational learning solutions and promote our growth as a learning organisation- Cultivating a culture of continuous learning within the organization, and providing L&D technical leadership and coaching to the wider AIA NZ Learning Community- Providing expert advice on learning and development trends, best practices, and strategies to support informed decision-making-
- Developing evaluation strategies to assess the impact of learning programmes and manage the Workday Learning system functionality

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development strategies and frameworks- Proficiency in co-design methods such as human-centred design, organisational change management and agile ways of working, with the ability to measure the impact of initiatives- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and leading complex business programmes, with strong influencing and communication skills particularly at Executive and Senior Leadership levels- Proven experience in project management, leading complex business programmes, managing outcomes and stakeholder expectations- Digital literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with e-learning platforms- Tertiary qualification or professional certification in an appropriate discipline (Psychology, Education, Learning and Development) - qualifications in coaching or psychometrics is desired- Experience in the financial services industry or a corporate environment is desired
