**About the company**

This is an amazing industry body for health, safety and wellbeing. The organisation partners with transporters, manufacturers, retailers and supply chain to improve the safety, health and wellbeing of all employees involved in the creation, supply, delivery, and sale of retail items, goods, and services. Wow, that sounds a lot, but this role will manage the overarching component and you will work directly with the CEO.

The organisation aims to drive safety leadership to increase awareness, positively change behaviours, and save lives, by connecting people with people and people with solutions. This has been proven over the last 5 years.

You will be reporting to the CEO and work with a tight team of 5 others - this is a team that cares about outcomes, wellbeing, and success for all that it touches.

**About the role**

This role is unique in that it is the 2IC to the CEO and will oversight and milestone manage a number of workstreams.

There are some tight deadlines to work to and so you will be super organised and be able to anticipate and work with variations as they occur.

You will be comfortable reporting and presenting to the executive leadership and external stakeholders, which include public and private sector.

You will have the ability to be across all of the details, and understand where additional effort and resources are required to ensure the appropriate deadlines are met effectively.

**Duties**
- Work closely with the CEO, provide a high level of senior leadership support
- Responsible for the overarching dashboard of the organisation and associated deliverables
- Support the Programme Managers in their comms and delivery of their projects
- Prepare and present regular reports for key stakeholders
- Develop the strategy for the comms for workstream with the workstream owners
- Identify any risks associated with the projects
- Support the development and management of the budget that support financial control
- Be actively involved in the website development - content look and feel

**Skills and experience**
- Project management, business science or engineering degree
- PRINCE 2 Certified would be an advantage
- 3 - 5 years’ experience of delivering successful programmes and management of these
- Health and Safety management systems / practices experience is desirable
- Programme leadership at a senior level is expected
