Pact is currently looking for Full, Part, Casual & Awake night Community Support Workers for our new youth service in Nelson.

**Key Responsi**
*Support those who have challenging behaviours *Assistance with an educational environment *Assist in gaining social, health and cultural reconnection *Ensure strict compliance with medication and considering rangatahi needs *Excellent communication and networking skills *Ensure rangatahi processes are accurately documented *Adding to the teams culture by showing positivity and patience *Celebrating staff and rangatahi accomplishments *Ability to build and sustain working relationships with rangatahi, staff and external agencies
We focus on self-development, where you will have a chance to train and gain further education on the job, which enhances your CV within the organisation. Our starting rate is $24.06 an hour and increases to $28.25 after completing your Career Force Level 4 qualification with us, which is on the job based training. We offer a lot of training which ensures you have the skills to be the best support person within Pact.

8 X Positions available
As we operate 24/7, hours of work will include day, evening, weekend, awake night and sleepover shifts. 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Awake nights 11:00pm - 7:00am.
Desired Skills and Experience Excellent communication and networking skills and the ability to build and sustain working relationships with rangatahi, staff and external agencies is essential. Previous professional experience in the mental health field and experience of working with tamariki and rangatahi will be an advantage.
A level 4 or other relevant qualification in mental health is desirable but not essential. Otherwise, there is an expectation that you will be willing to start working towards obtaining a level 4 mental health qualification after your first year of employment.
*A full drivers license and computer skills are essential. *If on a work visa, this must be valid for at least twelve months.
