Community Support Worker/ Personal Carer

As a Community Support Worker/ Personal Carer, you will be assigned responsibilities that will change depending on the needs and goals of each individual. You assist with everyday activities such as community involvement, socialisation, work or education, personal care and household tasks, as well as reporting and administration.
What exactly is the role'
- Working in previously agreed locations at our clients own residences or institutions
- Working within mutually agreed-upon availability
- Working in a mutually agreed-upon area or locations
- Offering a variety of services such as personal care, housekeeping, health checks, medication reminders, and food preparation
What do we expect from you'
- A caring and compassionate attitude
- Dependable and honest with a high degree of integrity
- Engaged and able to develop rapport
- Good time management and organisational abilities
- You respect diversity and inclusion
- Eligibility to legally reside and work in New Zealand
- Requires your own license and vehicle to get to and from work
- The commitment to achieve a Community Support Worker Level four qualification
- Experience supporting people with disabilities and/or challenging behaviours
- Reliability, Commitment, and Passion for working with people
- A full New Zealand drivers licence
- A relevant qualification (Or working towards one)
How we will support you:
- Pay benefits from $22.49 - $28.25 per hour -Mileage compensation for going to and from residence homes -Flexible hours for work life balance
