**About the Role**

Reporting to the National Supply Chain Manager, there are two key remits that fall under this role:
The first is to manage the Mobile Support team, who go out on the road around Auckland and Northland, setting up for local collection drives at schools, workplaces and other community facilities. With this comes a lot of planning, scheduling and managing of the fleet (3), the staff involved (3-5), and the event itself. This will require a logístically minded person, with outstanding organisation and communication skills. Liaising with a number of stakeholders and bringing everything together to ensure successful mobile collection initiatives.

On the other end of the spectrum to collections, the second remit involves the management of the local dispatch operation, out of their Epsom base. Leading daily operational activity and the team involved (3), in relation to the transportation and distribution of blood products - essentially ensuring the right products are available at the right place, at the right time. Managing the movement of stock, overseeing delivery schedules, working closely with other teams, and building strong relationships with customers. This will again require outstanding communication, organisation and leadership skills. Exposure to and understanding of dispatch/distribution operations will be crucial to this side of the role.
