**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to work as a Solutions Champion in the Collections and Technical Solutions team in the Library and Learning Services Unit at Auckland Libraries. The role is based at Central City Library with some ability to work remotely by agreement. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Champion innovative technology solutions that enhance library services and community engagement.
- Lead strategic initiatives to simplify library operations and improve user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and advocate for new digital tools.
- Support the development and delivery of modern collections and technical solutions.
- Contribute to a dynamic team focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
**He kōrero mōu: About you**
Key skills/attributes we will be looking for include:
- Proven experience delivering digital solutions and managing technology change projects in complex organisations.
- Strong strategic thinking and project/change management skills, with the ability to plan and lead innovation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including influencing and relationship-building across diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of public library technology trends and experience in the GLAM sector (5 years’ experience in the field)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. IT, computer science, information systems, or library science)
