We are on search for a leader to drive the Rotorua Lakes Council Governance and Democracy team, providing a high degree of expert knowledge and dedication to supporting elected member decision making. This will include guidance and advice in the administration of council and committee meetings, official information requests, and local elections.

Your career has seen you work in fast paced and complex environments and dealing with people and processes is not new to you. As someone who loves implementing new process and making things run more smoothly, the idea of creating new practices is appealing. You have experience with technical writing, such as creating reports and drafting recommendations.

The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday; however due to the nature of the work, flexibility is a must. This means some evening and weekend work will be required but we have a flexible work policy for hours and location so you can maintain the desired work/life balance.
