Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
As the Director of the Construction, Commercial and Procurement Team, this role has accountability to the Programme and Project Delivery Team.
The Construction, Commercial and Procurement Team will need to be established with skilled and expert practitioners that provides strategic, operational and tactical advice on the procurement and commercial contracting of capital projects so as to manage significant risk, gain efficiencies and ensure that value for money is achieved.
The Construction, Commercial and Procurement Director will lead their team in the implementation of the agreed Delivery Strategy. The role is responsible for establishing and managing an effective, efficient, transparent and high-quality end-to-end process of vendors/service providers on behalf of the Infrastructure & Investment Group and supporting the delivery of a pipeline of health construction projects and the contract and financial management that flows from this.
