Joe’s Cook is looking for 2 full-time Fast Food cooks who are sincere, skilful, enthusiastic, and with a sufficient understanding of culinary to join our Wellington Upper Hutt Fish & Chips Takeaway. **Key Information**: - Hourly rate range from $28.2 - $32.00. - 30 - 50 hrs per week on the roster. - We opens 6 days a week, closes on every Monday. - Must be able to work on some weekends, Christmas and holiday seasons (Some Public Holidays may be closed). **Basic Requirements**: - No prior work experience required, but would be an advantage if you have already worked in hospitality industry. - On-the-job-training will be provided if you are the right one. - Be able to enjoy and thrive working very busy environment and get sense of satisfaction out of cooking. - Long-term commitment required. - Like to work independently with confidence. - Time management and punctuality. - Keep calm under pressure. **Responsibilities**: - Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers. - Preparing food such as deep-fried snacks or fries - Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking. - Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers. - Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils. - Ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients. - May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages. We are particularly looking for someone passionate, caring and professional at work, kind, warm and friendly towards everyone, and with positive personality and humbleness learning attitude.
