Packer - Rongotai Production Kitchen

**We are on the lookout for a night shift Packer to join the Rongotai Production Kitchen team**

The Rongotai Production Kitchen is where some of Wellington's favourite Asian food brands are created, crafted, and packed for distribution to supermarkets, restaurants and retail stores all over New Zealand. We bake, cook, pack and distribute our products from early in the morning through till late at night. This big production kitchen is a healthy and safe environment where the team is valued and rewarded for delivering excellence. Under new ownership within Star Group, the Rongotai Production Kitchen is looking to expand production into new areas and needs good people like you.

The purpose of the Packer role is to work autonomously or part of a team to pack, label, date and dispatch any food produced at the Rongotai Production Kitchen. You will ensure that all packed foods are dispatched in a timely manner following all Star Group food safety guidelines.

We are looking for a Packer who can work in the evenings between the hours of 4pm-10/11pm.

**What we’ll love about you**:

- You will ensure food safety protocols are followed and correct PPE is worn at all times
- You can prepare the pack line and packing material to package finished product in line with the days/shift productions
- You will be big on health & safety and make sure the correct processes are followed at all times in line with company policy
- You will be able to ensure daily cleaning processes are followed
- You will be able to assist in the accurate and efficient stocking of delivery vehicles
- You are a team player and will communicate positively and motivate others in a friendly and professional manner
