Packer - Kapura Rongotai Production Kitchen

**We are on the lookout for a Packer to join the team**

The Rongotai production kitchen is where some of Wellington's favourite Asian food brands are created, crafted, and packed for distribution to supermarkets, restaurants and retail stores all over New Zealand. We bake, cook, pack and distribute our products from early in the morning to late at night. This big production kitchen is a healthy and safe environment where the team is valued and rewarded for delivering excellence. Under new ownership with the Kāpura group, the Rongotai production kitchen is looking to expand production into new areas and needs good people like you.

The purpose of the Packer role is to work autonomously or part of a team to pack, label, date and dispatch any food produced at the Rongotai production kitchen. To ensure that all packed foods are dispatched in a timely manner following all Kāpura food safety guidelines.

We are looking for Packers who can work in the mornings between the hours of 6.30am - 2.30pm

**What we’ll love about you**:

- You will ensure food safety protocols are followed and correct PPE is worn at all times
- You can prepare the pack line and packing material to package finished product in line with the days/shift productions
- You will be big on health & safety and make sure the correct processes are followed at all times in line with company policy
- You will be able to ensure daily cleaning processes are followed
- You will be able to assist in the accurate and efficient stocking of delivery vehicles
- You are a team player and will communicate positively and motivate others in a friendly and professional manner
