**The role**

You will be joining a new team, who will work one to one with a brain injury client. So if you have experience or interest with working in the mental health industry then we would love to hear from you. We want someone creative and empathetic, who has a passion in seeing others grow. This role may be challenging, but our staff always say how rewarding this position can be and we want to make you an important part of the team who contributes to someones everyday life.

**Each day will be different and may involve**:
*Building rapport with our clients *Hosting daily trips within the community *Encouraging our clients participation in day to day life *Supporting individuals to achieve their goals *Reconnecting our clients to their social and whanau connection *Maintaining health and educational commitments *Motivating clients to believe they have purpose *Ensure client processes are accurately documented

We focus on self-development, where you will have a chance to train and gain further education on the job, which enhances your CV within the organisation. Our starting rate is $24.06 an hour and increases to $28.25 after completing your Career Force Level 4 qualification with us, which is on the job based training. We offer a lot of training which ensures you have the skills to be the best support person within Pact.

**Currently we have, new team**:
*2 X Full time positions (day and evening shifts) *2 x Part time positions (weekend shifts) *2 X Awake night shifts (both full time)

**Other**:
*1 X Full time Mon to Fri (7am - 3pm) *1 X Awake nights (30 hours a week) *1 X Permanent Flexible ($28.75 an hour, mixed shifts) *1 X Full time (afternoon shift, includes weekend work)

Please note: As we operate 24/7, hours of work will include day, evening, weekend, awake night and sleepover shifts.

**Desired Skills and Experience**

No qualifications needed (unless on a visa), however there will be an expectation that you will be willing to start working towards obtaining a level 4 mental health qualification after your first year of employment. You must be an energetic, lively person who wants whats best for those around them. Previous professional experience in the mental health field will be an advantage.

*A full drivers licence and computer skills are essential *If on a work visa, this must be valid for at least 12 months
