Come join our Customer Protection team and contribute to lessening the impact of financial crime for Kiwibank and our customers. As an External Fraud Investigator you will:

- Monitor suspicious activity for customer cards and internet banking using specific fraud detection tools and outbound calling.
- Liaise with other banks and financial institutions on suspicious or high risk activity.
- Investigate fraudulent activity for customer cards.
- Identify and manage fraud incidents.
- Decide if fraud has occurred and provide resolutions and next steps.
- This is a permanent part-time opportunity working Saturdays, Sundays and one weekday of your choice. _

- Previous experience in fraud investigations and prevention or operational banking experience is preferred.
- Self-initiative to find solutions and confident with decision-making.
- Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines and great attention to detail.
- Confident and capable in relaying information both verbally and in writing.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and SQL and an understanding of PRM or other fraud detection system.
