Come join our Customer Protection team and contribute to lessening the impact of financial crime for Kiwibank and our customers. As an External Fraud Investigator you will:

- Identify and analyse fraud trends.
- Process and update customer cases.
- Educate customers on fraud prevention.
- Work with specific fraud detection tools to detect and investigate fraud and scams
- Collaborate with our Kiwibank customers and internal stakeholders to minimize fraudulent activity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and our Fraud Uplift programme.

At Kiwibank, we will help you build on your strengths and learn new skills, but in the meantime, we would love to hear from you if you have some of the following:

- Previous experience in fraud investigations and prevention or operational banking experience is preferred.
- Self-initiative to find solutions and confident with decision-making.
- Ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines and great attention to detail.
- Confident and capable in relaying information both verbally and in writing.
- Good working knowledge of Excel and SQL and an understanding of PRM or other fraud detection system.
