About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We are looking for dynamic and outgoing Community Liaisons to work with us on a casual contract basis, across Hawke's Bay, Central Hawke's Bay, Tararua and Wairarapa.
The purpose of this role is to promote electoral enrolment and voter participation. This can be achieved by working within local communities to inform, engage and educate New Zealanders about the value of participation.
The excitement of this role is the fact that no two days will ever be the same. You will be out in the community at schools, universities, marae, events, libraries, shopping centres and town centres, engaging with people and promoting electoral participation in Parliamentary Elections and Referenda.
You will be provided with excellent training and the full support of a committed team to ensure you are successful in this role.

- Are available as required on a casual basis.
- Engage effectively with their local community through their cultural and language awareness of that community.
- Are willing to learn and share knowledge and experience with other team members.
- Have experience in engagement, sales, promotions, or retail.

**Responsibilities**:
- Engage with priority community groups namely: Māori, Ethnic Communities, Pasifika, Youth and Disability sectors.

- These roles cover the Eastern Coast of the Central Region so flexibility to travel and support other communities is beneficial
