Kaiawhina, Community Nursing

Permanent, Part-time
48 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE)

The Community Nursing Service has an exciting opportunity for a Kaiawhina to work alongside the Community Nursing Teams (District Nurses in Napier and Hastings, Continence, Ostomy, and Wound Services and Better Breathing Hawke's Bay (providing pulmonary and heart failure rehabilitation) to support the cultural requirements of our patient group. The focus will be on improving equity and quality of care by bringing Tikanga and Maori models of health to the fore. The role would require you to work in various locations in the community setting across the Napier and Hastings area.

You will require an unendorsed driver licence and ideally will have had experience working in a health setting.

The hours of work 0800 - 1630 three days per week between Monday and Friday, we are able to be flexible to fit with childcare requirements.
