- Develop and implement change management strategies, including change management plans and activities aligned with the portfolio goals and objectives.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to develop and execute change management strategies, plans, and activities that support the portfolio’s success, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio lead, portfolio programme managers, product managers, and other senior portfolio stakeholders, becoming a trusted partner through building a thorough understanding of their strategic priorities and providing advisory and delivery services to achieve them.
- Identify, analyse, and manage potential risks and issues related to portfolio changes and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and engagement with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure understanding and support for portfolio changes.
- Develop and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of portfolio change management activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Providing input into the development of portfolio governance frameworks and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of change initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate training and workshops.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in change management and contribute to the continuous improvement of change management methodologies and processes.

**About the team | Mō tō mātou rōpū**

The Change Management Practice was established over a decade ago within the Organisation Performance and Improvement (OPI) service division within the Strategic Programmes Office. The practice has matured and grown considerably over time and has built a reputation for the strength of its service offering.

It has delivered this through a team of experienced and credible change experts providing quality change-management support and advice across the University. The breadth of experience within the team spans facilitation, engagement, and the ability to get others involved and motivate action with our people and extends to coaching and mentoring for good change outcomes.

**About you | He kōrero**

You will be an experienced Portfolio/Senior Change Manager, working on large and complex transformational work within a business change management environment. Combined with sound and demonstrated knowledge of Change Management methodologies.
- Proven track record in successfully managing multiple change initiatives simultaneously.
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, Agile, Lean Change Management) is highly desirable.
- You will hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, change management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, using data analytics and metrics to report and focusing on problem-solving and decision-making.

Having worked with senior stakeholders in a corporate, university, or large organisation, your exceptional communication skills will be required to influence and manage effectively at all levels of the business.
