We are seeking (2 Positions) Indian Curry and Tandoor cook to join and lead our restaurant based in Auckland. We are specialized in North Indian & Indo
- Chinese Cuisine.

Suitable applicants must have:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Indian cooking Cuisine or a certificate/Diploma in Cookery or Hospitality
- Confidence in Tandoor cooking procedures
- Kitchen Management

**Job Description**:

- Preparation and cooking authentic Indian food and curries as per client requirements.
- Must check the food quality of raw and cooked dishes.
- Plan food requirements for dressing.
- Preparing, seasoning, and presenting the dishes as per the standards
- Prepare the gravies and Sauces as per the requirements of the week.
- Refrigeration and storing of food at the correct temperature.
- Properly measuring kitchen ingredients and food portions.
- To ensure the kitchen waste is kept minimum and keeping the workstations and kitchen equipment clean, organized, and sanitized.
- Ensuring personal hygiene and maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Ordering required kitchen materials and keeping records.
- Supervision and training to Junior staff
- Working well under pressure and within the time limit
- Maintain a good working relationship with other team members.
- Prepare the gravies and sauces as per the requirement of the week.

This is a full-time permanent position with a minimum of 30 Hours per week and the pay rate for this position will be 29.66 NZD per hour.
