ABI Rehabilitation is a leading service provider for clients with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries in Auckland and Wellington. We tailor individual rehabilitation programmes to clients physical, cognitive and spiritual needs with a strong focus on interdisciplinary teamworkand family involvement.
We currently have a full
- or part-time permanent vacancy for an experienced Clinical Nurse Leader in our Wellington service, working from Friday to Monday (supporting staff through the weekend). The Clinical Nurse Leader has the responsibility for ensuring the daily delivery of quality service provision of clinical care by the nursing team in collaboration with the Nursing Services Manager and Nurse Educator.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage staff within the area of responsibility including rostering, education, andtraining.
- Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to the Nursingteam.
- Work closely with the Rehabilitation Physician to direct and coordinate clinical care.
- Use evidence-based practices within the clinical decision-making process.
- Perform development reviews and staff engagement in line with the overall ABI HR program.
- Ensure that the nursing services expenditure is in line with thebudget.
**Skills Required**:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registered Nurse qualification.
- Experience in a Neuro Rehabilitation setting
- Current Annual Practicing certificate
- Demonstrated high standard of clinical care and clinical safetymanagement.
- Strong time management and systems development skills
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and communicationskills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinaryteam.
- Excellent administrative / computer skills
- Current full, clean drivers license
