The Clinical Governance Support Unit is seeking to recruit a suitable applicant to the role of Clinical Governance Support Coordinator. This role has specific responsibility for essential administrative support functions for the Clinical Governance Support Unit.

You will have the opportunity to:

- Provide effective support, information and general administration
- Undertake duties and tasks to support the Administration Coordinators
- Provides initial advice / first port of call to members of the public, managers and staff
- Undertake short-term designated improvement projects/quality initiatives
- Contribute to the effective provision of CGSU services and partnerships across the organisation

You will possess essential skills that include Business and/or Personal Assistance qualification or equivalent experience.

You will also:

- Be proficient in using MS Word, Excel and Visio, DATIX (the integrated risk and incident management system)
- Have enthusiasm for meetings and sound minute-taking skills
- Excellent customer services and the ability to empathetically manage complex situations
- An appreciation of health literacy concepts
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of project work requirements or a willingness to develop this skill
- Highly developed organisational skills and initiative
