We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team here at Restaurant Brands. This role will be based in Auckland supporting our network of stores within the wider Auckland area. You will provide valuable support to our Operation, Area and Restaurant Managers across our well-known brands KFC, Pizza Hut, Carl’s Jnr and Taco Bell.

You'll be part of a wider team that is driving and championing important people initiatives across our network of restaurants understanding that each are unique to their local community. Our People and Capability team encompasses Partnering, Health and Safety, Recruitment and Learning and Development. We work in a busy environment that is diverse and people focused where we employ upwards of 5,000 staff across NZ.

**About you**
- You will have sound judgement with a commercial and practical approach
- You will be capable of building and maintaining relationships and earning trust from your varied stakeholders.
- You will have proven and substantial experience across generalist HR and the confidence to partner with our Operations teams to support, upskill and provide solutions to their business challenges
- You will be the definition of resilience and will be able to adjust to changing priorities
- Above all your sense of humour and initiative will mean you understand how to keep positive and work towards a common goal

**Skills & Experience**
- A tertiary level qualification in HR, Psychology or similar
- Experience in dealing with disciplinary processes, up to and including terminations
- A working knowledge of employment-related legislation and developing and maintaining effective employee relations
- Confidence working 1:1 and with groups growing people skills
- Strong communication & writing skills
- The ability to solve problems, resolve conflict and provide advice and coaching
- Strong prioritisation skills with the ability to shift gears easily
