- Responsibilities include reviewing vehicle accounting processes.

**Mō te turanga | About the role**
- Fixed-term, full-time summer position.
- Based in Hamilton, running from November to February 2026.
- You will provide administrative support to the Property and Fleet team within Waikato Regional Council’s Business Advisory Services group.
- The role is office-based and very hands on.
- Coordinating vehicle and property bookings.
- Managing supplier contracts.
- Raising and receipting purchase orders.
- Assisting with audits.
- Supporting the onboarding of the new telematics and fleet management contract.
- You will support both internal processes and stakeholder engagement.

- Finance
- Procurement
- Facilities
- Legal teams

**Over the summer, you will gain**:

- Firsthand experience in local government operations.
- Skills in navigating administrative systems.
- Knowledge in compliance, asset management, and service coordination.
