**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, Prevention, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored.

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available to join our Prevention Directorate as a **Senior Relationship Manager, National Bowel Screening Programme. **This role will manage and lead the interface and relationship with key stakeholders at a national level, to ensure that the NBSP is being delivered, and any changes which present opportunities or challenges to the programme are well managed.

The Senior Relationship Manager is an important role providing strategic guidance and advice on a wide range of service delivery, funding and accountability activities, prioritising and evaluating work generated by districts teams to support the National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP).

**Mōu | About you**

You have experience in relationship management and service implementation/change preferably within a health sector organisation. You have significant experience engaging and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels of the health sector. You have proven experience implementing quality standards to be able to monitor and measure performance.

- Tertiary qualification in a health or relevant field and/or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of managing Districts /PHOs, Primary care and other health sector providers
- Understanding of how public sector processes work, including funding, procurement, and reporting
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a strategic and agile manner
- Understanding of and experience in working with Māori and Pacific communities
- Significant experience managing and influencing key stakeholders' expectations across all levels of an organisation
